Josh Bilicki / Insurance King Extend Partnership with The Wounded Blue for Kansas and Martinsville NASCAR Cup Races.

Mooresville, NC (October 13, 2020) – Josh Bilicki and Insurance King will extend their partnership with The Wounded Blue at the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series races at Kansas Speedway on Sunday, October 18th and at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, November 1st.  The Wounded Blue is the only national organization that helps officers in distress who were wounded or injured on the job.  

​The extended partnership will feature two primary sponsorships, shared between Insurance King and The Wounded Blue.  Bilicki will drive the #7 Chevrolet Camaro this weekend at Kansas with an identical paint scheme to what he ran at Dover in August.  At Martinsville, Bilicki will race with a special paint scheme - one that will honor each police officer killed in 2020.  The paint scheme will feature over 200 silver stars on the hood to honor the 200+ police officers who lost their lives in 2020.  

“We originally planned on being at Martinsville because it’s Halloween weekend and we knew we could run a unique paint scheme,” says Dan Block, President of Insurance King.  “We came up with the idea to make the car look like a cop car because NASCAR began with bootleggers outrunning the police.  However, when we partnered with The Wounded Blue, we ended up going one step further with this paint scheme and are dedicating this design to each police officer that lost their life in 2020.”

The NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway will take place on Sunday, October 18th at 2:30PM ET and will be televised live on NBC. 

​The NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway will take place on Sunday, November 1st at 2:00PM ET and will be televised live on NBC.
