Josh Bilicki can now take those big, bright yellow rookie stripes off the back of his #45 Prevagen Toyota Camry, as he successfully completed his first full time season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. It was a season of firsts for many involved in the effort. 2018 was Prevagen’s first full season as a primary sponsor, and it was also JP Motorsport’s first season as a team. Completing the season did not come easy, however. “It was a season full of learning, for both my team and me,” explains Bilicki. “It was a roller coaster of emotions at times. From having our engine lock up in practice during the first race of the season at Daytona, to my front-right tire letting go a few weeks ago in Texas and destroying the car. We really had to put our heads down and keep digging at times, but I believe these things made us stronger and we learned from our misfortunes and mistakes.”
2018 was a big learning curve for Josh. Prior to the start of the season, Bilicki had under ten total oval starts under his belt. “I learned more than I could have imagined this year. Fifteen of the tracks we raced at this year were completely new to me. Next year when we return to those tracks, I am going to feel much more comfortable.” Josh continues, “I’m so thankful to Prevagen for supporting me in my first full season in NASCAR competition. We’ve had many great memories together and I am forever grateful to them. I also want to thank Jerry and Phyllis Hattaway of JP Motorsports. They both have sacrificed a lot to start this program and make it all the way to the end of the season.” Bilicki had many additional partners throughout the season he would like to thank. "I'd also like to thank Trim-Tex Drywall Products for supporting me throughout the years, Marriott Construction Companies, CNC Swiss Inc, Ariens, Diamond Construction Unlimited, WoodShed Smokehouse, Associated Bank, Trudell Performance, Cedar Valley Cheese Store, Chimney Mechanix, VanDOit, Woody's Automotive Group, JAG Metals, and Sierra Auctions." Bilicki closed out the 2018 season 33rd in driver points. He improved on his starting position in 21 races throughout the season and he recorded two top 20s and five top 25s. Prevagen is the number one selling brain health supplement in America and has been shown to support healthy brain function, a sharper mind and clearer thinking and is manufactured by Madison, Wisconsin based Quincy Bioscience. Prevagen sponsored Bilicki in four XFINITY Series starts and at New Hampshire in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2017.
