Josh Begins 2014 Racing Season in Colorado with Grid-1 Motorsports

After a long winter in Wisconsin, I had the opportunity to fly to Colorado and test with Grid-1 Motorsports, a SCCA Pro-Racing World Challenge team that campaigns Mazda MX5s and RX8s in the Touring Car class.  This was my first time in a World Challenge Mazda MX5 Touring Car and also my first time at the track, High Plains Raceway.  It didn't take me long to adapt to the car and track, though.  With snow on the ground next to the track and puddles forming in a few of the corners (due to snow melting), I was able to come close to the fast time in that car at that track.  


It's safe to say that I impressed the entire Grid-1 Motorsport's team during the test day at High Plains Raceway.  I'm now looking for marketing partners to help take me to the next step in my racing career, which is to compete in the World Challenge Touring Car class.
