BILICKI SET FOR SECOND CHILI BOWL APPEARANCEFort Worth, TX (December 15, 2023) Josh Bilicki will make his second Chili Bowl Nationals appearance in January of 2024, driving the 7D car for Ramco Speed Group. The effort will feature Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts as a primary sponsor, with The B.O.S.S., Royal Flight Club, and Page Construction featured as secondary partners. The 2023 Chili Bowl Nationals marked Bilicki’s first ever race in a dirt-midget, but Bilicki has since competed in numerous other dirt races, which includes winged sprint car races throughout his home state of Wisconsin and the BC39 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. While still a rookie on dirt, Bilicki, age 28, has amassed nearly 200 starts across NASCAR’s top three series, while also competing in IMSA, Trans Am and the S.C.C.A.
“The Chili Bowl is a race that was on my bucket list for some time, but I didn’t really know where to start looking for a ride,” says Bilicki. “Throughout my time in NASCAR, I’ve met some great people that have supported my career, two of those being Richard Bell from The B.O.S.S. and Cindy Elliott from Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts. Richard introduced me to the Ramco Speed Group team last year and Cindy came on as a primary sponsor.” Bilicki continues, “I had virtually no dirt racing experience prior to the Chili Bowl, but within the last year, I’ve been lucky enough to race numerous sprint car and dirt midget races. It’s been a humbling experience learning a completely new discipline, but it’s been some of the most fun I’ve ever had behind the wheel of a racecar. I can’t wait to get back to the Tulsa Expo Center and continue this learning process.” The 2024 Chili Bowl Nationals will take place from January 8th through the 13th at the Tulsa Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Each night will be broadcast live on FloRacing.
