 For Josh Bilicki will make his return to the IMSA Continental Tire Sportcar Challenge this weekend at the Road America Continental Tire Road Race Showcase. Bilicki, who lives just 50 miles from Road America, will be driving the number 18 Montway Auto Transport RS1 Porsche Cayman in the ST class with co-driver Dillon Machavern. "I can't thank Montway Auto Transport and P1 Groupe enough for helping me put this race deal together. This is a very exciting opportunity for me to be back at my home track racing with IMSA," says Bilicki. "I made my IMSA debut here last year with Burton Racing and managed to lead nearly ten laps. I am hoping that Dillon and I have a good, clean run throughout the race and that we find ourselves near the front towards the end of the race." Dillon Machevern, who is no stranger to this series and track, is coming off of a very successful Trans Am TA2 season so far as well as a multi-race campaign in the number 18 RS1 Porsche Cayman. "I've raced with Josh in the past in the Spec Miata class. We've ran closely and I think that we will make a great team here at his home track." Bilicki and Machavern both have a very busy month ahead of them as they will both be competing in the Trans Am TA2 races at Mid-Ohio and Road America the following weeks. The Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge race from Road America will stream live on IMSA.TV and will air on Fox Sports 1 on August 14th at 11:00 AM. The Continental Tire Road Race Showcase takes over Road America’s 4-mile circuit on August 4th through the 7th for what will be the most incredible weekend of sports car racing in the world. Fans will get to see the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race on Saturday, with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event on Sunday plus races from the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA all weekend.
